Programs
CPRBoston
offers top-quality, affordable, single-session programs
in the instruction of
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and in First AID. Our
instructors are AHA certified and are experienced critical care
providers. Our program fees are the lowest in the Greater
Boston area. We are mass transportation accessible, and parking is
free.
CPRBoston also offers a pediatric First Aid program approved by the Mass. Dept.
of Early Education & Care.
CPRBoston offers the
healthcare provider (HCP) level program. This program can be
attended at Caritas Carney Hospital, or provided at group,
agency or organization.
Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR)
CPRBoston's CPR program
is approved by the American Heart
Association. In addition, our program meets the Mass.
Dept. of Early Education & Care, JCAHO
and OSHA guidelines. CEUs are available to the healthcare provider.
Upon completion of the program, participants become
AHA-certified to administer CPR to adults, children and infants.
Skills taught include:

Assessment
of victim's breathing and pulse

Foreign body airway
obstruction techniques (Heimlich maneuver)

Use of Automated External
Defibrillator (AED)

Use of mouth-shields and
other barrier devices

Hospital Program at your

CPR Instructor Training
"If you are interested
in becoming an American Heart Association BCLS CPR & First
Aid Instructor, We offer a one day instructor's course on February
23, 2008, or June 14, 2008, or August 23, 2008, or November 1,
2008.
The program(s) will be held from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
at Caritas Carney Hospital. . You will need to possess a current
Healthcare provider level CPR card to attend the training.
The cost of the program is $125.00. In order to register
send a check or money order to: Dennis Mahoney, Caritas Carney
Hospital, 2100 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, MA, 02124. You will
be sent a letter of confirmation upon receipt of your registration.

First Aid
Join us for a First
Aid program. Or schedule this program at your organization or
agency. This program meets the standards of the Mass.
Dept. of Early Education & Care and all other professional
requirements, such as the guidelines of JCAHO and OSHA.
Upon completion of
the program, participants become certified to manage
adults, children and infants. Skills taught include:

Managing medical, injury
and environmental emergencies
